From fresnobee.com: The Center for Advanced Research and Technology in Clovis is getting a $100,000 grant through Grundfos Pumps Corp., which operates a pipe-manufacturing plant in Fresno.CART earned the grant in a competitive program offered through the charitable arm of the Denmark-based company. A check will be presented tonight during a CART board meeting. The grant will help CART pay for its water and environmental technology programs and add equipment, said Devin Blizzard, CART's chief executive officer. "Engineering a sustainable and reliable Central Valley depends upon our collective investment in future engineers," he said.
